Cologne, Germany, July 10th, 2013 – In July 2013, the Illusion Walk KG was founded by Jim and Julien Rüggeberg. The company’s headquarter is situated in Cologne (Germany) and a second office will soon be opened in Berlin (Germany). Managing Partner Dipl. Kfm. Jim Rüggeberg has more than 15 years’ experience in leading an international group of a premium tool brand with responsibilities for over 1800 employees and a € 250 Million turnover. Jim will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) while Julien Rüggeberg will be appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Julien, a graduate from Berlin Games Academy, is a Digital Media Professional with experience in the complete product development process, professional team building and management. The company will be specialized on VR technology and VR content development. The core product – Immersive Deck – will become a key technology in the VR industry, implementing a real-time Holodeck based on a unique interactive multiuser concept.
